Sylvan Lake Rec Hockey Annual Tournament
Each year our tournament is held as our only fundraiser for the season. We host teams from across Central Alberta in a two and a half day round up for the season. This is a round robin style tournament for our 8-10, 11-14 and 15-17 age groups, thanks to our medal sponsors. Our 5-7 age group will participate in a 3 hour Jamboree held March 7th.
Raffle Tables, 50/50 and other exciting activities are located in the Seniors Centre at the Nexsource.

Jamboree for ages 5-7 March 7th 2026
This year our 5-7 age group were celebrated with a year end Jamboree. Our friends from Alix were able to join in on the fun! The teams played in scrimmages with Heart and Hustle awards, a fun skills competition, games, and of course a well-earned pizza party. Thank you to our coaches, junior coaches, referees, and volunteers who worked behind the scenes and on the ice to bring this event together. Celebrating Our Graduating Players
This year our tournament committee wanted to celebrate our players who were aging out or "Graduating" from our program. Each player who chose to participate received on ice recognition, a gift from the Town of Sylvan Lake, and a canvas photo display of their hockey careers. Thank you to our mayor Megan Hanson and President Lesa Mackie, for presenting. Congratulations to all of our graduating players, we've been so proud to watch you grow and can't wait to see where to go next.
